Meet Dr. Ochsner

Dr. Ochsner is a New Orleans native who attended the Academy of the Sacred Heart. She graduated summa cum laude from Newcomb College with a B.S. with honors in Biology. She received her medical degree and completed her residency training in dermatology at Tulane University School of Medicine, where she served as Chief Resident. Her postdoctoral training included a Melanoma Fellowship with nationally renowned surgical oncologist Dr. Edward Krementz. She is also a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Tulane Department of Dermatology.

Dr. Ochsner is a board-certified dermatologist and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.

Meet Dr. Saussy

Dr. Katharine Saussy is a born & bred New Orleans native and is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and Women’s Dermatologic Society. Dr. Saussy enjoys treating patients of all ages and has exceptional training in all aspects of dermatology including medical, pediatric, surgical, cosmetic and skincare. She has a strong passion for sun safety.

 

Dr. Saussy has served her community from an early age, finding passion in giving back. She volunteered throughout college as an EMT with Tulane EMS. She volunteered with Ozanam Inn Homeless Shelter throughout medical school, providing healthcare screenings to its patrons. During her senior year with Tulane Dermatology, she created School Sun Safe which aims to educate local youth on sun safety. She was selected to serve as Chief Resident her senior year. Outside of her time in the clinic, she works with Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center doing skin cancer screenings for patients throughout Louisiana.


She loves to travel and is most at peace in the mountains. She spent her summers attending Camp Green Cove in Tuxedo, North Carolina, where she spent most of her time white-water kayaking. Dr. Saussy is married to Jed Antoun. They have one dog, Habibi (which means “my love” in Arabic), an English Cream Golden Retriever. She is a lover of all things sushi, wine, Creole Creamery ice cream, and Grey’s Anatomy.
